Situated just minutes from Southsea seafront and the centre of Portsmouth, Florence House is Portsmouth’s original boutique hotel, offering free WiFi and parking. A mix of on and off-road parking is available, reservation is required.

All bedrooms and bathrooms are individually designed, offering stylish and comfortable furnishings. Each room boasts a LCD TV, and vegan friendly toiletries.

The Florence House Hotel offers varied dining options including the Garden for indoor and outdoor dining.

It is housed within a lovingly restored Edwardian house that has retained many original features. Florence House Hotel is the first hotel in The Mercer Collection group of boutique properties.

The historic Mary Rose, HMS Victory, and HMS Warrior warships are less than a 10-minute drive away, along with the Blue Reef Aquarium. Gunwharf Quays Shopping Centre and Portsmouth Harbour Railway Station are also less than 10 minutes away by car.

Due to the age of our building, we do not have lifts. If you are unable to manage stairs please contact the property directly. Please note, our restaurant is closed in the winter, opening from May - October.

This is an annexe building - our reception, breakfast room and restaurant are located opposite the property.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note the property does not have an elevator to upper floors.

When booking 3 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements will apply.

Flexible cancellation terms are not applicable to any bookings of 3 or more rooms.

There is an extra fee of GBP 15 per dog, paid in advance. Please inform the property before arrival if you wish to travel with pets.

Please check in at the main reception half way down Florence Road, just 10 seconds walk from the property. Breakfast, Bar and Restaurant are located here.

Standard King Room with Shower. This double room has a teacoffee maker and electric kettle. This room has free Wi-Fi, a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room (no bath). Complimentary tea and coffee plus toiletries. ;
Standard King with in-room Bath. This room has free Wi-Fi, a king-size bed, tea and coffee, and an in-room Bath, en-suite toilet. Please note there is no walk in shower. ;
