At The Goodenough Hotel, our story is rooted in heritage, education, and giving back. More than just a boutique hotel in Bloomsbury, we’re proud to be a not-for-profit hotel in Central London – with 100% of our profits going towards supporting Goodenough College, a renowned postgraduate residence and academic community.

In early 2026, The Goodenough Hotel will be undertaking phased heritage restoration works to the front of the building. These works are carefully managed, with little expected impact on guest access, comfort, or enjoyment of Mecklenburgh Square. Any limited works will be planned to minimise noise, and a small number of rooms will be temporarily closed, allowing us to carry out light-touch refurbishments, including new carpets.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Due to restrictions imposed by the propertys listed building status, there is no elevator. However, a member of staff will be on hand to assist with luggage.

Payment will be requested in full upon check-in.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Helena Normanton Signature Suite. These luxury suites have high ceilings, chandeliers and a separate living room overlooking the garden square. Also featuring a desk, a satellite TV, teacoffee making facilities, slippers and bathrobes. Free Wi-Fi is included. ;
Dorothy Sayers Signature Suite. This suites standout feature is the fireplace. This spacious suite includes 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 1 bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Eileen Power Signature Suites. Guests will have a special experience as the suite provides a fireplace.
